354 The earth and space are of cosmic nature, thus man is not forbidden to view any part, or all, while living here. I am sure the astronauts will have that experience, once they venture into space, providing they are well schooled in receiving impressions. They will have the opportunity to live in two states of life-one the sense mind educated in the world's environment, the other-conscious awareness of living space. They could receive impressions of cosmic space while at the same time their sense minds could be wondering what was transpiring down on earth. They will have a remarkable opportunity to compare earth's knowledge and conscious knowledge. And will be in a position to blend the two into one. For they will be viewing that which cannot be seen with sense sight and that which can be seen with sense sight. And they will know the difference between that which is real and that which is not for the cells of the cosmos will communicate with them through impressions. And the sense mind will transform the information into sound when the astronauts speak to others.
354 地球も宇宙空間ともに宇宙的性質のものであり、人はここに生きている間、その如何なる部分も全体も見ることを禁じられてはおりません。私は宇宙飛行士達がひとたび宇宙に踏み出すや、印象類を感受することを十分訓練されていれば、その体験をするだろうと確信しています。彼らは生命の二つの状況の中で生きるという好機を得ることでしょう。一つは世の中の環境の中で教育されて来た感覚心、もう一つは生きている宇宙空間の意識的気付きです。彼らは宇宙的空間の印象類を受けることができますが、一方では彼らの感覚心は眼下の地球で何が起っているのか知りたいと思うことでしょう。彼らは地球の知識と意識の知識とを比較するという注目すべき好機を得ることになります。そしてこれらの二つを一つに融合する立場に立つことになるでしょう。何故なら、彼らは感覚心では見られないものと感覚心で見られるものとを見ることになるからです。そして彼らは真実のものと真実でないものの違いを知ることでしょう。何故なら宇宙の細胞達が印象類を通じて彼らに伝達するからです。そして宇宙飛行士達が他の者に話す時、感覚心はその情報を音声に変換することになります。
【解説】
本項は私達が宇宙に出ることが如何に大切であるかを説いています。実際に私達が宇宙に出る際、私達は宇宙空間から様々な印象、地球では味わえない高いレベルの想念と接することになります。その結果として、私達は従来の感覚心からの印象とは違う、本来の宇宙的な想念・印象の世界を知ることになる訳です。
このような体験は多くの宇宙飛行士達が報告している所ですが、誰もそのメカニズムについて解説することはありませんでした。本講座が唯一、これらの特徴的な事象を解説しているのです。
本件に関連して、宇宙飛行士達の体験談やその後の特徴的な人生の歩みについては、立花隆の「宇宙からの帰還」(1983年）の他、映画「In the Shadow of the Moon」他で描かれているところです。
一方、当分の間、宇宙旅行は望めない私達が留意すべきことは、宇宙空間には私達に宇宙的な印象を与えてくれる宇宙的細胞その他があり、私達を導いてくれることです。たとえ地上にあってもそれら宇宙空間と絶えず密接なつながりを維持して置くということです。私達の出目の源泉は上空の宇宙であり、"私はこの世の者でない"という訳です。
