075 We have been taught that the mind is the man as well as the knower. But as the mind is an effect, this statement is far from the truth. Yet within the form of man lives the knower. If the mind would humble itself and become the observer of the form through which it works, it would soon realize how little it does know. i.e. There is no question in our minds that we have brilliant people in the world, for the new inventions in the recent years prove this. In the field of electronics the things that are done could be called miracles. Things like correcting instruments from earth that are many miles out in space, and talking back and forth with a man in a capsule orbiting the earth. These accomplishments only show the potentials of the human mind when it listens to the guidance of consciousness. Yet with all of the knowledge at present there is not one man in the world that can create a human form and have it function as we do. But within the form there is that knowledge which manifests every day in the birth of children. Not to mention the thousands of other form creations.
075 私達はこれまで心こそが人間であり知る者であると教えられて来ました。しかし、心は一つの結果であり、この声明は真実とはかけ離れています。しかし、人体の内側には知る者が生きています。もし心が自らを謙虚にし、その知る者が人体を通じて働く様子の観察者になるならば、心はすぐに心がいかに少ししか分かっていないを自覚することでしょう。つまりこういうことです。世の中には素晴らしい人々が私達の中にいることについては疑問はありません。近年の新たな発明がそれを物語っています。エレクトロニクスの分野では為されている物事は奇跡と呼ばれても良いでしょう。宇宙空間に何マイルも離れている装置を地上から修正するようなことや、地球を周回するカプセル内の人間と相互に交信するようなことがそれです。これらの成就した出来事だけでも人間の心が意識の指導に耳を傾けた時に発揮する人間の心の可能性を示しています。しかし、今日の知識の全てをもってしても、世界中に一人として人体を造り出し、それを私達同様に機能させることが出来る人はおりません。しかし、その人体の内部には毎日、赤子の誕生として現出する創造的知識が備わっているのです。その他、何千もの他の創造物についても言うまでありません。
【解説】
今日、私達地球人は遠く離れた火星上の探査機を遠隔で操作し、映像を地球に送信させたり、更に離れた小惑星に無人の探査機を飛ばし、採取したサンプルを地球に持帰る等々、画期的な技量を身につけるようになりました。そのこと自体は私達が本講座で言う「意識」の声無き助言に従った結果、伸ばした能力だと言える訳で、人間の可能性の大きさを示すものです。
しかし、本文で述べられているように、生物の誕生という精密繊細な活動はそれらよりはるかに緻密な活動であり、私達の人知には及ばない所です。私達の心もこうして身体と同様に創造主から創られた存在であり、結果物である訳で、それ自体では何らの能力もありません。唯一、創造主の息吹によって、生命体としてよみがえり、知性ある行動をとれるということでしょう。私達にとって常日頃、創造主からの導き、インスピレーションを身体に取り入れ、その導きに沿って行動することが大切です。
