349 I stated at the beginning of this lesson that space is permeated with cosmic cells. All cells are conscious entities that make up the mind and all forms known and yet to be known. Our scientists recognize this now and our astronauts are being taught how to receive impressions from the living cells in space. These cells do not lend themselves to personal opinions of sense minds. But there is not a moment in life that the sense mind does not receive impressions from the cosmic source. The mind may not be alerted to them because it is preoccupied with its own abnormal conditions, but the impressions are there just the same. The only time that the sense mind becomes aware of them is when it loses its interest in itself. Sometimes this is called meditation or silence, for it is then that thoughts or impressions move before the sense mind at terrific speeds.

【解説】
本項で著者は、宇宙的細胞は宇宙空間にpermeated（行き渡る、浸透している）と表現しています。文字通りに解釈すれば、"宇宙的細胞は宇宙空間に満ちている"という訳です。
このことの解釈として"宇宙空間に細胞が存在している"とは不可解だと言う読者が居るかも知れません。しかし、「同乗記」でアダムスキー氏が語っているように、まるで生きているかのように活動する光体の存在、更には他惑星人の存在からも宇宙的性質を持った細胞が多数、宇宙空間に存在することは確かです。
また、これら宇宙的細胞から印象類が発せられるという点も重要なところです。何も無い所から生じるのではなく、想念を発するには発信源に生命がなければならないということでしょう。それらの印象に同期できるかどうか、今度は受け取る側の細胞の問題もある訳です。
私達は日々、このような宇宙的細胞により助けられているという訳です。
